The purpose of this site is to create a formalized network throughout Asia, strengthening the voice of the Buddhist Sangha in conservation. The Sangha Network works to inspire Buddhist communities to realize their potential as leaders and teachers of the local communities, as the link between government bodies, NGO's and others in raising the awareness of the local people and building their capacity in creating and protecting a thriving natural environment.

We wish to create a dialogue between the Buddhist communities of Asia, so that they may work together to become a leading force in conservation led by Buddhist teachings, able to sustain their work and live in harmony with nature.
